Red Lobster Just Announced Its Limited-Time Holiday Menu—Featuring 7 New Items

Plus two returning fan-favorites.

To paraphrase Mark Twain, the news of Red Lobster’s death was greatly exaggerated. When the company filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy earlier this year, fans thought it might be the end of their favorite seafood chain. But Red Lobster just released a holiday menu that makes it clear that it’s still in business and wants its loyal customers to know it’s giving it all it’s got.

There’s plenty of lobster on the new menu, plus pasta, scallops, and bacon—everything fans expect to be on Red Lobster’s list of offerings. And, each meal comes with the side dish that some customers think is the best part of dining there; the freshly baked Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Sure, you can make copycat Cheddar Bay Biscuits at home, and they are really good, but there’s something extra special about having a Red Lobster server bring them hot and fresh to your table.

With this holiday menu, Red Lobster joins other chains, such as Dunkin’ and Five Guys, who have already announced their holiday offerings. The seafood restaurant is serving up seven new main dishes for the holidays and three new seasonal cocktails. It’s also bringing back some old favorites.

Red Lobster’s 2024 Holiday Menu

There’s a lot to unpack here with this limited-time menu. Let’s start with the drinks. Red Lobster invites diners to raise a glass of cheer with these three holiday-themed cocktails: Snowglobe Sangria, Ruby Mule, and Mocha Espresso Martini.

With a cocktail in hand, guests can then choose from the seven new dishes:

• Lobster Pappardelle Pasta: Tender Maine and langostino lobster meat, fresh tomatoes, and asparagus tossed with pappardelle pasta in a garlic sauce.

• Bacon Wrapped Sea Scallops: Sea scallops wrapped in bacon and served with spring mix greens.

• Lobster Bisque: Rich and creamy and served with crackers.

• Lemon Basil Mahi: Grilled Mahi topped with fresh tomatoes and basil with lemon sauce. Served with a choice of two sides.

• Simply Prepared Mahi: Perfectly prepared. Served with a choice of two sides.

• Parmesan-Crusted Chicken: Parmesan-crusted chicken breast topped with lemon-herb sauce, fresh tomatoes and basil. Served with a choice of two sides.

• Roasted Asparagus: A new choice of side.

Guests will also be thrilled that the restaurant is bringing back Popcorn Shrimp and Hush Puppies.

The new menu is now available at all Red Lobster locations for a limited time. If you go before Thanksgiving and leave with some of the famous Cheddar Bay Biscuits, keep in mind they can be used to make one of the best stuffings you’ve ever had.
