Unless you've been living under a fashion rock, you've probably heard of Reformation. The It Girl-favourite brand (a favourite of Hailey Bieber, Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lopez to name a few — oh yeah, and Yahoo editors) may be best known for their flattering and flowy dresses, but over the past few years they've really stepped up when it comes to other clothing. Think chic footwear, on-trend collabs (Veja! New York City Ballet!) and luxe knitwear.

If you're thinking of snapping up any of Reformation's knits for colder days ahead, I put 4 of their trending styles to the test. Read on to see how I styled them, as well as my honest review.

Cashmere Boyfriend Sweater in Compost

$186 CAD/$126 USD $248 CAD/$168 USD at Reformation

How I styled it: This classic cashmere sweater can be paired with pretty much anything. I'm a big fan of sweaters paired with blue jeans, so I styled this with Reformation's Gemma High Rise Crossover Wide Leg Jeans (which are amazing, BTW). I tucked the sweater in for a more tailored look (and to showcase the crossover jeans) and paired with a snip-toe ankle boot to to add a bit of height.

My review: OK, talk about softness. This was the first cashmere sweater of Ref's I've put to the test, and I have to say, it totally lived up to the hype. The fit is relaxed — I tried this in my regular size, but could have also sized down for a slimmer fit. The sweater is made of 90% recycled cashmere and 10% cashmere, and the compost colour is a rich, earthy brown that's really on-trend right now. At $248 CAD, it's also a relatively affordable buy if you're looking to add a cashmere sweater that will stand the test of time to your wardrobe.

Giusta Oversized Cashmere Cardigan in Black

Reformation Giusta Oversized Cashmere Cardigan in Black

$321 CAD/$224 USD $428 CAD/$298 USD at Reformation

How I styled it: This oversized cashmere cardigan would look great with jeans or leggings, but I wanted to try something a bit different. I love playing with proportions, so I paired this long cardigan with a denim midi skirt and left the bottom few buttons undone to showcase the skirt's high waist. And because I'm a '90s grunge gal at heart, I added a pair of chunky Chelsea boots to finish off the look.

My review: A cardigan is a wardrobe must-have, and this cashmere one will be in your closet for years. It's oversized without being frumpy (I took my regular size), and is great to toss on over pretty much anything on a chilly day (psst — it would also make a great office sweater). My favourite thing? The subtle cable knit detailing, which makes this cardigan stand out in a crowd of competitors.

$321 CAD/$224 USD $428 CAD/$298 USD at Reformation

How I styled it: I know leggings as pants are divisive, but if you catch me on pretty much any Saturday or Sunday, I'm wearing them. While I'll often pair my leggings with an oversized sweatshirt for dog walks and errands, I love swapping out the sweatshirt for a more luxe sweater if I'm going for lunch, shopping or meeting up with a friend for a drink. This ribbed, collared sweater comes in the prettiest shade of blue, which IMO, is perfect for winter. I once again paired this with lug-sole Chelsea boots, which are as functional as they are fashionable.

My review: I'm *obsessed* with this sweater. Ever since I saw another Yahoo editor wearing it in a chic ivory shade earlier this year, I knew I had to try it — and it totally lives up to the hype. The ribbing, wide sleeves and collar make it unique, and I know it'll be getting a ton of wear this winter. My favourite part of this sweater? The front buttons that match each colourway oh-so-perfectly. While this is currently out of stock in Parisian Blue, you can shop in several other colours below.

Evan Cashmere Sweater Dress

Reformation Evan Cashmere Sweater Dress in Chianti

$404 CAD/$284 USD $538 CAD/$378 USD at Reformation

How I styled it: This is admittedly a dress out of my comfort zone — I don't usually go for formfitting looks — but I really wanted to try a knit that wasn't, well, a sweater. This fitted cashmere dress is gorgeous on its own, but I added a vintage Gucci belt and a pair of sock booties to make it feel more me. While I would totally wear this to work, I can also see the dress pulling double duty for a winter wedding or holiday party — just swap out the boots for look-at-me heels.

My review: I was apprehensive to try this dress, but ended up liking it a lot more than I thought I would. I was worried the cashmere would be itchy without an underlayer, but it was surprisingly soft. While I think this one might still be too formfitting for me to feel comfortable in, if you're a fair of more body-hugging dresses this is a gorgeous one. It's currently sold out in the chianti colourway, but is available in dark grey.
