Richard Branson Describes Michelle Obama's Excitement About Post-White House Freedom

Barack and Michelle Obama apparently know how to get down.

In British business mogul Richard Branson’s new autobiography, Finding My Virginity, he reportedly writes about the former President and First Lady’s visit to Moskito and Necker Islands, his private resorts, this past February.

So what went down? According to AOL, Branson says that Michelle said, “We’re free!” as they greeted each other on the island to kick off their 10-day vacation. In addition, the former first couple asked Branson’s staff to call them “Barack and Michelle,” with Michelle later saying, “It’s so nice to have my name back after eight years.”

As if that weren’t cool enough, the Obamas threw Branson’s staff a party to thank them and, yep, dancing was involved. He says they were “dancing with us, getting the party going, making everybody feel at home and welcome.”

And remember those epic shots of Barack Obama kitesurfing?

Apparently, Barack not only is a huge fan of water sports, but also had just picked up the new skills on Branson’s island, where he learned the basics.
