Rita Ora's glistening hair tinsel is the *epitome* of festival beauty
While for some, Glastonbury was the festival season peak (read: "I walked 50,000 steps, y'know"), the raver in me is still holding out for August's upcoming weekends – the party don't stop 'til I walk out. And one celebrity providing all the beauty inspo for said parties is Rita Ora, with a look that just screams glamping.
While baby braids and mermaid waves are all that we crave (soz) this time of year, one look that goes severely under-rated, IMO, is hair tinsel. Not only are the strands affordable and easy to apply but they effortlessly elevate a look. I mean, who doesn't want to look like a Christmas tree during the height of summer?
The singer's MUA Nikki_Makeup, who created the below 'Earth tones' makeup up look, shared said hairstyle sported by Rita on her Instagram page just yesterday.
In the caption, Nikki reveals that celebrity hairstylist, Rio Sreedharan was the creative genius behind the star's tinsel waves.
The shimmery strands sit subtly among Rita's natural-looking sea salt curls and the gold colour perfectly compliments her barista blonde highlighted locks.
Aesthetics aside, what makes this look so fun is that you can remove them at the end of the day... or, should I say, festival. However, if you're wanting to rock the semi-permanent 'do for a little longer, fear not, for hair tinsel can last for up to 6-8 weeks. Just wash and style your hair as normal but with a little extra care.
