There’s a ritzy new seafood spot coming to SoFi in Miami Beach. Here’s a first look

South of Fifth peeps, you’ve got more fine-dining options.

Globally influenced seafood restaurant Catch will officially open its doors next Friday. The elegantly buzzy venue is in good company with other hot spots in the area such as Prime One Twelve, Carbone, Joe’s Stone Crab and Milos.

The much anticipated newbie is from the powerhouse team at Catch Hospitality Group, of Mastro’s Ocean Club downtown.

Jet-setters may have already stopped into sister locations in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Aspen.

The 305 was an obvious choice for the next outpost.

“I couldn’t be more excited to expand our footprint within Miami’s thriving hospitality scene, and bring the signature Catch experience to the esteemed South of Fifth neighborhood,” said Tilman Fertitta, partner. “This city’s ever-evolving culinary landscape is truly something special, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.”

The tropical chic eatery is a destination in and of itself. Catch is massive, at 23,000 square feet, with a main dining room, as well as a open-air rooftop terrace.

Highlights in the mouth-watering menu options include Cantonese lobster, sashimi “pizza,” grilled octopus, mushroom spaghetti and fish flown in directly from Tokyo’s famed Toyosu wholesale market.

Don’t sleep on the meats. Catch is one of the few places on the planet that’s certified to sell authentic True A5 Kobe, the highest grade of Wagyu beef. A plus: It’s prepared tableside.

Bring your pals, because the plates are shareable, and you’ll have someone to take your pictures for the ‘Gram.

“Everything will be super premium,” partner Eugene Remm promises. “We want to be as good of a quality as the best 12-seat omakase restaurant in a 300-seat environment.”
