The clip shows the two pop stars lip-syncing to an audio snippet from The Kardashians, where Kylie Jenner says 'I'm obsessed with my mum.'
In it, the Espresso singer and Aguilera are both sporting extra long hair in matching shades of blonde. 25 years after her debut album dropped in 1999, Aguilera is back with newly recorded live performances as part of the Spotify Anniversaries series, slated for release on September 23rd. A duet with Machine Gun Kelly is already on the cards, but now we can't help but wonder if a collaboration with Carpenter is on the horizon.
It makes perfect sense. Any child of the nineties will remember Christina Aguilera as one of the most notable pop culture icons of that era. No club night playlist is complete with 'Genie In A Bottle' and 'Dirrty', and we have all - at one point - belted out 'Beautiful' in front of the mirror. Carpenter - with her addictive hits such as 'Taste' and 'Bed Them' - will arguably go down in history as one of the most powerful women in pop, just like Aguilera.
