Melissa Joan Hart has revealed she is battling COVID, saying she feels like she got "a little lazy” and wishes she had “done better”.
The Sabrina The Teenage Witch star – who has been vaccinated - said in a video posted on Instagram that she is finding it “hard to breathe” and that the illness is “weighing” on her chest.
Hart, 45, said she thinks one of her three children also has the virus and that she is hoping her husband Mark Wilkerson and their two other children don’t fall ill too.
Speaking from her bed, she says: “I’ve got COVID, I am vaccinated and I got COVID. And it’s bad.
“It’s weighing on my chest, it’s hard to breathe.”

The actor said she feels “mad, really mad because we tried and we took precautions and we cut our exposure by a lot”.
“But we got a little lazy and I think as a country we got lazy and I’m really mad that my kids didn’t have to wear masks at school,” added the US star.
“I’m pretty sure that’s where this came from and… nothing I can do about it now.
“My little one luckily wore a mask every day because he was used to it from last year and he came home bragging every day, ‘Mum I wore my mask’ and I was so thankful and now if he does get it I can at least tell him he was a superhero to those in his classroom, because he protected his teacher and his classmates.”
The star said she is hoping no other family members fall ill “because if someone has to be taken to the hospital I can’t go with them and just… scared and sad and disappointed... myself and some of our leaders, and a lot of people, including myself.”
Hart added: “I just wish I’d done better so I’m asking you guys to do better. Protect your families, protect your kids.
“It’s not over yet, I hoped it was but it’s not so stay vigilant and stay safe.”
Hart – who is also known for 90s show Clarissa Explains It All – said in the caption that she was not posting the video “to be political or gain pity” but just wanted to share with fans how she was feeling.
“This isn't up for debate, it's just how I feel today on my page,” she said.
