Sandra Lee is bringing "semi-homemade" to a new level!

The Food Network alum spent 10 hours crafting her gown for the annual Fête Galante at the Palace of Versailles in France on Monday, May 27.

Lee made her dress, inspired by Marie Antoinette, over three days with a glue gun and materials found throughout Paris.

The cream gown started off as a plain 1950s wedding dress but was transformed into a lavish piece with ribbons, tassels and lace details.

The celebrity chef obtained the bows, fringe and tassel from a drapery and trim wholesaler. She styled the dress with a layered pearl necklace, which she constructed from a belt.

"I’ve been captivated by Versailles ever since I saw Kate Winslet's amazing performance in the story that followed the woman who created the Marie Antoinette Waterfall Gardens," Lee wrote in an Instagram post referring to the 2015 period drama A Little Chaos.

"My Ever Sweet friend Maxine runs events at Versailles and was kind enough to include me. It’s sure to be an unforgettable night and the gown must be Perfection, so I’m creating it myself. I wish you could all come and I’ll be sure to send pictures so you will be included from wherever you are," she added while sharing a few behind-the-scenes images of her crafting the gown.

Lee paired the dress with an 18th century-inspired hairdo styled with two wigs stacked on top of each other and adorned with about 40 different ornaments, fabric roses and a 1910 antique butterfly found at a flea market.
