Sangita Patel nails impressive fitness challenge with 'Bond-inspired' transition
Sangita Patel is back with another motivational fitness video — with a twist.
On Tuesday, the "ET Canada" host took to Instagram to share a video of her doing a series of weighted and elevated squats in what appeared to be a home gym.
To break a sweat, the 43-year-old wore a pair of black Under Armour leggings, a fluorescent yellow sports bra and white sneakers.
After she put down her dumbbell, the video transitioned to show Patel posing in a James Bond-inspired look complete with black satin trousers, a black tie and a white button-down shirt.
"Heel elevated squats are seriously my favourite new exercise for my quads. Hmm, after a leg day I turn into Bond," she captioned the post for her 141,000 followers.
Fans loved the TV personality's video and praised her creative transition.
"The transition!" an Instagram user commented. "Love the pantsuit, and your makeup!"
"You are a powerhouse! So inspiring!" another added.
"Such a great Bond-inspired transition! This was just the motivation I needed. I love the Bond look on you! Killing it as always," someone else wrote.
"Wow! I’m sweating just watching this. You are so strong!" commented another.
A fan shared: "So impressive! And such a cute transition. The James Bond look is everything. Love it."
Last month, fans applauded the Toronto, Ont.-native for showing off her "superhero" strength in high heels and a gown on the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival red carpet.
"Well, I haven’t been to the gym all week — eating burgers and fries and lacking on my water intake. My body is like, 'Yo, whatcha doing?'" she captioned the clip. "But you know me — I’ll find a way to get a good challenge in, in heels, in a dress, on the red carpet."
Patel's video garnered praise for pulling off the "impossible."
"Love how you are doing this on the red carpet in heels," one fan commented. "Slay, girl!"
"You are fearless to do that in heels! Well done," added another.
"This is impossible! You're like superhero-strong for pulling this off," someone else chimed in.
