Calling all Shake Shack stans—or literally anyone who likes free food. The beloved fast food chain is generously giving away free burgers every day leading up to Christmas. That’s nine days of burger freebies. And it couldn’t come at a better time. While Shake Shack has been busy lately, bringing back our favorite black truffle menu with its umami-rich burger, and the fan-favorite Christmas Cookie Shake loaded with holiday cheer, we’re glad it didn’t forget about the deals we always love to cash in on.

Of course, if you plan to take advantage of this sweet offer, there are a few important details to keep in mind.

How to Get Your Free Shake Shack Burgers This December

From Dec. 16 to 24, Shake Shack is offering up free burgers to anyone who orders through the Shake App or in person at any of its participating locations. It’s super easy: All you have to do is use the code BURGERBLITZ with a minimum purchase of $10 on any of your other menu go-to’s.

Taste test-winning Shake Shack is giving away a different burger each day of the promotion, so fans have their pick, from the traditional base ShackBurger with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce to upgraded versions that add avocado, bacon, chopped cherry peppers, Gruyère, black truffle sauce, and crispy onions—all on a toasted potato bun or in a lettuce wrap. Sounds like the perfect time to grab lunch or dinner with friends (BOGO, anyone?) or to try a burger you’ve never had before.
