Shenae Grimes-Beech is challenging ageism.

On Monday, the Canadian actress took to Instagram to address women over 30 with a no-nonsense message. In the video, the former "90210" star began by saying, "Get ready with me while I tell you why you should stop wearing certain items of clothing once you've reached a certain age."

"Especially if you've had kids," she added before applying her makeup in silence for the rest of the clip, implying age and motherhood should not dictate wardrobe choices.

"Wear whatever the f—- makes you feel good," she said before ending the video.

In her accompanying caption, the mom-of-two doubled down on her stance, writing, "Important PSA for women over 30! I said what I said. There is zero reason you shouldn't wear whatever makes you feel good and confident and your truest self!

"Style is an external expression of self," the 34-year-old continued. "As long as you're breathing, honey, you deserve to exist in that sense of self and express it however you damn please — let yourself be seen."

In the comment section, fans applauded the actress for championing self-confidence and self-expression, regardless of societal pressures.

"I'm in my mid-thirties and I have enough disposable income now to afford clothes I love, and fewer f—-s to give with each passing year. Why would I start 'dressing my age' now?," an Instagram user wrote, agreeing with Grimes-Beech.

"I've never understood 'dress your age,'" someone wrote. "Like I will dress how I feel comfortable, thanks."

"Applause on what you just said," commented another. "And thank you for your words. I'm 39 years old and I wear whatever the f— I want."

"I'm just figuring this out at 'fabulous 50!'" one woman said. "I wear clothes that make me feel good."

Last November, Grimes-Beech opened up about finding it hard to "feel sexy" after breastfeeding two children in another candid Instagram reel.

Alongside the video of Grimes-Beech donning a black lace two-piece high-waisted underwear and bralette set, she penned, "After breastfeeding 2 kids, feeling 'sexy' doesn't come as easy as it once did."

She noted for the sake of improving her relationship with her body image, she has "been wanting to change things... about my body for years but I haven't overcome the fear of doing it yet and who knows? I may never!"

However, the actress emphasized her commitment to embracing her body as it is and finding confidence in her own skin.

"So, until I decide if that's for me or not, I'm working with what I've got to make me feel more confident in my skin. Stepping out of my usual cotton basics for something a [little] spicier (but still just as comfy) certainly helps!,” she wrote.
