Shenae Grimes-Beech is getting real about year-end stress.

The 33-year-old Canadian actress took to Instagram with a video alongside her husband, Josh Beech, paired with a detailed caption about being under the "pressure" of the holiday season.

"Anyone else start deeply assessing their existence as the holidays draw near every year?!" the "90210" star captioned the post, originally shared on TikTok but then posted on Instagram. "I’ve been in a bit of a funk."

"Then I realized, the holidays are around the corner and this is my annual, 'what have I done/not done this year' funk! Heavy emphasis in my brain on the 'not,'" she wrote before listing the things she wanted to accomplish in 2022. "Where have I not travelled? What have I not earned? What are my relationships not like? What have I not accomplished? What healthy habits did I not form? How have I not been the best mom, wife, friend, etc?"

"I can’t expect miracles. But I can take the pressure off because the fact is, a year would require so many more hours in each day to actually do all of the things!" the mom-of-two continued, explaining that the end of the calendar year doesn't have to "define my life."

"It’s a marker of time but it doesn’t need to hold the weight on my timeline that I often allow it to," Grimes-Beech penned.

Fans met the "Degrassi: The Next Generation" alum's message with applause for pointing out that we're all "on our own timelines."

"Thank you for sharing! The end of the year really doesn't mean much unless you want it to! The best is definitely still yet to come. We're all on our own timelines," one follower commented.

In September, Grimes-Beech opened up to her Instagram followers about getting back into exercising this year after welcoming her second child, Kingsley, in August 2021. She and Beech also share a 3-year-old daughter, Bowie Scarlett.

"Been back on my workout game for one year since having my second baby," Grimes-Beech wrote alongside a set of outdoor photos of herself posing in a pair of black bicycle shorts and a matching sports bra. "This is a practice I knew I had to kickstart as soon as I could because of the wonders it did for my mental health during my first postpartum season."

She explained that after having her first baby, she "struggled with postpartum anxiety," but working out "was a reminder that I could do hard things and got me through a lot of the more challenging moments mentally as a first-time mom."

The actress gave herself a pat on the back for how far she has come in the last five years, admitting that while her body will always “'jiggle-jiggle and fold' after two C-sections and a cumulative 18 months of breastfeeding," she is "so proud of the journey me and this body of mine have been on."
