Sophie Turner Is the Proud Owner of Sansa Stark's Throne

Sophie Turner may have left her Game of Thrones character Sansa Stark in the North after season 8 ended but her newest piece of furniture proves she's not ready to let all of it go. On Instagram Stories, captured by Glamour, the actress and new mom posted a photo of the wooden throne with the House Stark crest that belonged to her character. She captioned the photo, "welcome home."

Turner's husband, Joe Jonas, who is an admitted GoT fan, also posted a picture of the chair.

In 2019, around the series finale, Turner wrote a touching tribute to her character. "Sansa, Thank you for teaching me resilience, bravery and what true strength really is. Thank you teaching me to be kind and patient and to lead with love. I grew up with you. I fell in love with you at 13 and now 10 years on.. at 23 I leave you behind, but I will never leave behind what you’ve taught me. To the show and the incredible people who make it, thank you for giving me the best life and drama lessons I could have ever asked for. Without you I wouldn’t be the person I am today," she wrote.

New furniture and major life-changing television roles aside, it has been a busy month for Jonas and Turner. The couple announced the birth of their daughter, Willa, in July. A source told ET that "the couple is taking time to enjoy this special moment and have only shared the news and updates with family and friends." They added, "With the pandemic, Joe and Sophie have been very cautious about who is around them and their little girl."
