Sophie Turner and Taylor Swift Step Out for Dinner Again Amid Actor’s Custody Battle
Sophie Turner and Taylor Swift were out and about again last night amid the actor’s divorce and custody battle with ex Joe Jonas.
The stars were seen leaving Hotel Barrière Fouquet’s New York, known for its luxurious rooftop restaurant and bar, on Thursday night.
Turner was cool and collected in a boxy white T-shirt, gray midi skirt, silky red slippers, and a colorful quilted leather Yves Saint Laurent bag with a golden chain strap. She continued the chain motif with a gold chain necklace with a lock on it, and accessorized with more gold jewelry.
The actor wore her hair straight down and wore minimal makeup, adding only some shimmer with sleek silver shadow.
Swift, meanwhile, opted for a black off-the-shoulder top paired with beige trousers cinched with a black belt, and red velvet heels. She, too, wore gold jewelry and added a pop of color with her signature red lip and a metallic pink shadow. Her hair was down, straight.
This is the second time in a week that Turner and Swift have enjoyed a girls’ night together. On Tuesday night, in what would be her first public outing since splitting from Jonas, Turner stepped out in a shimmering silver top, her new friend by her side. The two reunited for a dinner date at hotspot Via Carota, and were seen interlocking arms as they walked around the city.
Their Thursday outing also came hours after news broke that Turner was suing her ex for allegedly refusing to let their two daughters return to England with Turner. Jonas soon responded to Turner's claims with a statement of his own, in which he denied he “abducted,” his kids and said he is seeking shared custody with Turner.
