Stacey Solomon has launched her brand new spring/summer 2025 homeware collection with George Home, inspired by some of her favourite spring flowers.

With prices starting from £1, the 279-piece collection includes 170 new lines designed by Stacey herself with George's in-house design team. Loved for her decluttering hacks and renovation ideas, we sat down with Stacey to get the scoop on the inspiration behind the collection and her favourite DIY hacks.

How would you describe this collection?

SS: Classic, elegant and timeless.

What has the design process been like?

SS: This opportunity has been incredibly meaningful in my career mainly because I've loved doing it so much. I get to be so creative, and the design team behind the magic at George are wonderful – I've got access to so many incredible brains. I can say whatever's in my head, or scribble something on a piece of paper, and together we're able to make it happen. It's really been a huge privilege; it's probably one of the best things I've ever done in my career. I've loved the process so much.

What was the inspiration behind the collection?

SS: The power of spring. I love flowers, I love my garden, and truly, the best time of year for me is springtime, when what has been dormant and dead for a long time begins to come back to life. It's the most amazing thing to see happen. A lot of my favourite flowers bloom at this time of year – bluebells, daffodils and daisies – so the collection was primarily inspired by those and their colours.

From there, I considered how they could work in the home. For instance, I love to see daffodils bloom, but I wouldn't necessarily want that shape or palette on a cushion. That was where the daisy came in: it has that yellow centre, but it's also neutral. It was an amazing flower to design with because I know it will fit into most people's homes, whether bright or muted in style.

How important are affordability and accessibility with your new collection?

SS: The most exciting prospect for me when Asda asked if I wanted to do a homeware range was the fact that they have the facilities, the footfall, and the traffic to be able to offer items that are really good quality at a much lower price point. That was so exciting to me because it's the high street shops that have been there for me my whole life, no matter what position I've been in, so it was great to honour that.

It was also important because, in my mind, I think: 'Why should you have to have more money to be able to get good-quality items for your home?' So it's always at the forefront, but with the mission to offer a genuinely high-end standard at a lower price point, rather than just an affordable dupe.

What kind of decorator are you?

SS: Definitely seasonal. I genuinely love the seasons and reflecting them in my home. I have a loft over my garage where I can stow anything that's out of season, then bring it back when it's time. I'm always ready for the next season, whatever it is, even winter. Right now I'm preparing to put some of my big, cosy autumn throws away and bring down some of my lighter, spring pieces. I really love to live that way.

Speaking of decorating, is there a DIY hack that's your ride-or-die?

SS: Never underestimate a tub of filler. Most of us have got holes in the walls or a bit of wonkiness, but a tub of filler and a sander will go a long way into making something feel completely fresh and polished.

Really, the easiest and cheapest way to transform a room yourself is with paint. Brands like Dulux do amazing duplicates of fancy shades. So for £40, you can change an entire room, even if you're new to DIY entirely. It's not hard to paint.
