Armando Garza from Edinburg, Texas, has loved his stepson Ayden since the boy was 10 months old.
One Christmas, Ayden was excited to reward his unofficial stepdad who'd been there for him all those years. So he presented him with adoption paper wrapped up in holiday-themed tissue. And as Armando realized the significance of the gift the tears began to flow.
“My son had dreamed about this day for a long time,” Mrs. Garza, Ayden's mom, said.
While he may have not given Ayden the "gift of life," the gift of lifelong fatherhood is just as special.

Jensen Fuller from St Charles, Missouri gave her stepmother, Letitia Fuller, a magical Christmas morning when she gifted her adoption papers.
Her stepmother had been in her life since she was only two years old. While her father and Letitia have since divorced, Jensen says that Letitia, "Still is and always will be my mom."
The moment left both women in tears, their hearts "wrapped up" in the true Christmas spirit.

26-year-old Katlyn Brown presented her stepfather of 23 years, David Stick, with adoption papers and asked him if he would legally adopt her.
Stick appeared to choke up, which Brown says she'd never seen him do before.
