Use as a highlighter

If you want to fake that summer glow and don’t have a highlighter to hand, dab some lip balm along your cheekbones for a pretty sheen. It works equally well on brow bones too.

Make your perfume last longer

Dabbing a bit of scent-free lip balm on your wrists before spraying your perfume onto the area will help the smell of your favourite fragrance linger for longer.

Soften your cuticles

Lip balms are essentially dry skin softeners, so you can apply them to areas other than your lips. If you have dry cuticles, using some of your lip balm will definitely help them out.

De-frizz your tresses

If the sun is drying out your ends and making them frizzy, smoothing them down with a bit of lip balm when you’re out and about is a fabulous emergency rescue remedy.

Help with a dye job

When you are dyeing your hair at home, popping some lip balm along your hairline and on the top of your ears will stop the dye staining these areas by acting as a barrier - saving you hours of scrubbing later on.
