Taye Anita says she wants to "play" more in 2024.

The fiancée of Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Zach Pop, shared a series of engagement photos on Instagram over the weekend alongside a heartfelt message revealing her New Year's resolution.

The photos capture the sweet moments following Pop's outdoor, lakefront proposal in Banff. The pair were all smiles in matching beige jogger outfits, posing in front of a mountain.

Anita explained her plans to work less and "play" more in 2024, writing, "I’ve been thinking a lot about my word for 2024. I always pick a word for the year. It acts as my guiding force for the year; the energy I want to embody."

Prior to meeting Pop, Anita shared her life was work-focused, lacking room for games or casual socializing.

"I’ve been completely consumed by my life’s work. I’m obsessive about the things that fuel my soul; it’s what makes me me," the Canadian content creator penned. "Before meeting Zach; I didn’t play games. I didn’t 'hangout' with friends."

With a desire to infuse more play into her life, Anita outlined her plans for the upcoming year. "I want to play more. I want to have games nights with friends and family, I want to cancel plans and go jump into the ocean, I want to be fully alive for the little things," she wrote.

As the couple prepares for their wedding, Anita playfully hinted at upcoming dance lessons, promising an epic dance floor, revealing, "We're signing up for dance lessons this year so you can bet the dance floor at our wedding will be absolutely epic."

In the comments, fans swooned over the couple's "Canadian-coded" engagement photos and applauded Anita's plans for the new year.

"This engagement is so Canadian-coded — I love it. Congrats you two! 2024 is going to be all play! You only live once," a fan quipped.

"I loved every single part of this message!," someone weighed in.

"I absolutely love these wedding pics," an Instagram user wrote. "Play play play and when you are tired, play a bit more."

"So beautiful," shared another.

The pair initially announced their engagement in October with a selfie of Anita showing off her beautiful engagement ring.

"Oct. 6 was the best day of our lives! It had God's name written all over it. We truly can't put into words the overwhelming joy in our hearts right now," Anita penned in the caption.

"The past week has been a complete dream but one we never ever have to wake up from. Completely in awe of how God prepared us for this moment," she shared. "I'm marrying my best friend, and I'm the luckiest girl in the world. You are wildly loved now and forever by your fiancée."
