A Thin Mint Frosty? I've Never Wanted A Rumor To Be More True
It's Girl Scout Cookie season, which means it's time to get out your wallet and commit to a box or six of your favorite flavor. (RIP S'mores and Toast-Yay). It should come as zero surprise that the beloved Thin Mint is the most popular flavor among the bunch and has spawned not only copycat recipes, but everything from Thin Mint pretzels to Thin Mint pita chips. And now, in what may turn out to be the best move we've seen from them in a long time, we're hearing rumors that Wendy's is hopping aboard the Girl Scout Cookie bandwagon to release a chilling Girl Scouts Thin Mints Frosty next month.
According to Instagram influencer Teamsupernovafb, the collaboration is slated to debut February 21 and will consist of vanilla ice cream with Thin Mint-flavored swirls. Wendy's has yet to confirm the news, but that hasn't stopped fans from getting psyched for the new launch.
Reactions on the post range from a simple "OMFG," to "Holy crap Americans actually getting something good." Some commenters proclaim that they'll be snagging the dessert as soon as it drops, while others brag that they plan on ordering the largest size available. I guess it's safe to say that people are just a bit excited, and honestly, we can't blame them.
Rest assured, I plan on being first in line if/when the Frosty finally comes out. I just hope it lives up to the hype.
