The First Daughter went British!

Though her father stresses American manufacturing and her elder sister and mother both chose American-based brands, Tiffany Trump was a bit of a wild card, sartorially speaking, at the inauguration. For her custom, double-breasted white coat, she went with the Chinese designer Taoray Wang. And to match with it? A pair of booties from Aruna Seth, a London-based brand that built a majority of its business in the Middle East.

The boots themselves are adorable! Done in a forest-green suede, the “Farfalla” style definitely gives Trump’s look a pop. Replete with the brand’s trademark butterfly and a lace-up back, the boots were one of several options the brand sent over for Trump and her stylist, Phillip Bloch, to choose from.

If you’re hoping to snag a pair, they’re on the designer’s website for $935.50. Handcrafted in Italy, the style is only one of the designs that exude the brand’s hyperfeminine and still very glamorous aesthetic. In fact, the Farfalla is the best-selling style for the label and has become its signature shoe. Notably, to celebrate that success, limited-edition versions of the bootie were launched this summer at Harrods.

The 23-year-old joins princesses and royalty, such as Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, the Duchess of Cambridge, and Pippa Middleton, who have all worn the brand. Established in 2009, the label boasts quite a bridal footwear business (in the U.S,, it’s stocked in Kleinfeld’s) and uses a Napa leather padding to add comfort to the styles.

If you’re a big fan, expect to see the brand around more in the U.S.

It is an absolute honour that our shoes were chosen by Tiffany to compliment her outfit,” Seth told Heavy.com in a statement. “Over the years we have been involved in some momentous occasions, but this really tops it. We are opening in Fifth Avenue, New York, very soon, so we can bring our shoes and boots to more people.”
