Timothée Chalamet Clarifies Where He And Kylie Jenner Stand With Selena Gomez Now
Timothée Chalamet put the Kylie Jenner and Selena Gomez drama rumors to bed. The Wonka actor addressed the Golden Globes fan theory while out in Beverly Hills last night when a TMZ photographer followed him and asked him multiple times about it.
The pap asked Timothée point-blank about the internet’s speculation that his girlfriend, Kylie, blocked Selena, his former A Rainy Day in New York co-star, from getting a photo with him at the Globes. He ignored the line of questioning initially, then chose to clear the air on the drama.
He was asked if he and Selena were “cool,” and he replied, “Yeah, of course.” When asked if Kylie and Selena had any “beef,” he also said “no,” adding that overall, “we’re all good.” And there it is, straight from Timothée's mouth.
A source close to Selena also shut down the drama rumors yesterday to People. “She was absolutely not referencing anything about Timothée or Kylie,” the source said of what Selena, Taylor Swift, and Keleigh Sperry were discussing. The insider added that Selena “never even saw or spoke to them [Kylie and Timothée]” at the Globes.
Kylie and Selena previously shut down fan speculation that they had drama in February 2023. Some TikTokers had theorized at the time that Kylie was making fun of Selena’s eyebrows with Hailey Bieber, who’s married to Selena’s ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, on Instagram.
Kylie commented on TikTok, “This is reaching. No shade towards Selena ever and I didn’t see her eyebrow posts! U guys are making something out of nothing. This is silly.”
Selena replied to Kylie’s comment, echoing the sentiment. She wrote, “Agreed @kyliejenner. It’s all unnecessary. I’m a fan of Kylie!”
