My Tiny Kitchen Had No Room for Storing Cookware — Until I Found This $49 Gem
I’ve toured a lot of apartments over the years, and I’ve never seen a kitchen smaller than my current one. The distance between the sink and the stove is about a foot. You can stand in the middle and reach the stove and fridge without moving. In addition to this kitchen’s lack of counter space, the cabinets leave a lot to be desired. I convinced myself that all of the above wasn’t a deal-breaker when I signed the lease. It’s taken a few clever space-savers to make it work, but I was right: It is manageable.
I found most of my organizers early on after moving in, and I’ve left it mostly unchanged over the past few months. There was one thing that seemed to be missing, however: a place to store all of my pots and pans. Initially I shoved the ones that didn’t sit permanently on my stovetop inside the oven — which isn’t ideal considering how often I use it. That’s where this wall-mounted pan organizer from Amazon comes in. Find out exactly how it’s made my tiny kitchen tremendously more functional below!

What Is the istBOOM Wall-Mounted Pan Organizer?
If you’re short on cabinet space like I am — or your cookware collection is always growing — then a hanging rack is the solution you’ve been waiting for. This one has an open design, with six removable bars to hang hooks off of. It includes 16 hooks, so you can load it up with up to 60 pounds worth of kitchen gear, stacking pots or appliances on the shelf above. That feature is what primarily sets it apart: This deeper version offers way more storage than a single wall-mounted rail. You can hang at least double the amount of pots and pans, and you can securely place a few more on the platform.
The 18/10 stainless construction is also entirely rust- and scratch-proof, so you can make use of it for years to come. The version I opted for is about 23 inches wide and 9 inches deep, so it won’t come out too far from the wall and get in the way of your workspace. There’s also an option that comes in just under 20 inches (if you’re working with even less space) or 36 inches (if you have more wall space).
Why I Love the istBOOM Wall-Mounted Pan Organizer
I used to own a hanging rail instead of this space-efficient organizer, but now that I’ve experienced the difference it makes, I can’t believe I didn’t switch it out sooner. I’ve cleared out my oven and a portion of my countertop thanks to this durable find. With the hardware drilled into the studs in the wall, the organizer accommodates three heavy pans with ease. At one point, I even rested a heavy Dutch oven on the top shelf, and the organizer still showed no signs of buckling under the weight. The 16 provided hooks are more than plenty — I’ve designated one for my oven mitts, and I have plans to hang my dish towels and mugs alongside them.
Though I bought this organizer with function rather than looks in mind, it certainly doesn’t hurt that it pretty much doubles as wall art, filling up the too-empty wall in my kitchen. In that way, it’s essentially a two-in-one piece that enhances the visual appeal of my kitchen and makes the most of limited space. It was $50 well spent, if you ask me!
