Take a Tour of Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young’s New Beach House
After nine months together, Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young took another huge step in their relationship, moving into a home just a block away from the ocean. Now, you can step inside their new beach home thanks to this video tour Tarek posted on Facebook.
Located in Newport Beach, the 3,700-square-foot home has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. According to the house stats featured in the video, Tarek and Heather live in the beach home with Tarek and Christina Anstead's children, Taylor and Brayden.
"We love this house for so many different reasons," Tarek says at the beginning of the tour. But his favorite part about coming home is "all the amazing family photos" displayed on a table in front of a blue wall they put up. "It is amazing to come home and see the babies."
The family room has armchairs that Tarek's kids love to spin on, a couch in front of a TV mounted above a large fireplace, and huge glass doors. In the area in front of the fireplace, Tarek made sure to get tables with wheels so he could roll them out of the way to make space to wrestle with his kids.
As the couple shows viewers their kitchen, which features a marble island, they say that it's where the family loves to hang out, including Tarek's father, who comes over and cooks homemade meals for them almost everyday. A new family rule they made for their new house is that they all eat together at the long dining table next to the kitchen.
The kitchen and family room's glass doors open to their backyard. Tarek points out that while it isn't the biggest backyard, because their lot is twice the size of other homes in the area, they're able to have yard and a pool. "This is rare so we're really excited to have this," Heather adds.
At the end of April, Tarek told People magazine that their Newport Beach home is just a rental that they only plan to live in for at least a year. “This is our in-between house until we build or find the perfect house,” Tarek said. “But I mean, this is a super killer house.
