Trader Joe’s Just Brought Back This Super Popular Holiday Treat
With the holiday season in full swing (Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away!), Trader Joe’s is impressing its fans with popular drops week after week. The beloved grocer just rolled out ready-to-sip espresso martinis, ideal for a white elephant gift exchange, and darling teeny tiny apple pies that will surely be the star of any dessert spread. But perhaps the most exciting news for shoppers is the return of one of its famous festive cookies.
If you head over to TJ’s, you may be able to spot a box full of Gingerbread Sandwich Cookies. A pack of nine cookies costs $5.99. The viral appeal of this treat is that it starts with a base of two soft, chewy, well-spiced cookies infused with ginger and molasses flavors, and then it’s filled with a creamy layer of frosting crafted with butter, cream cheese, and Madagascar vanilla beans.
Shoppers are already detailing their experience spotting the popular cookies; some are having better luck than others.
One person commented on an Instagram post, “I did not see these yesterday!!! I need them!” while another shopper said, “I just bought them and had to stop at two.”
Other fans couldn’t stop commenting about their love for these Gingerbread Sandwich Cookies. One person wrote, “These are so good,” while another shopper added, “The most festive and prettiest cookies!”
In addition to these highly sought-after cookies, Trader Joe’s also stocked its shelves with Gingerbread Non-Dairy Oat Creamer, Gingerbread Cookie Mug Hangers, and a Vegan Gingerbread Loaf.
Unfortunately, like many of TJ’s holiday drops, these Gingerbread Sandwich Cookies are limited-edition, so once shoppers clear the boxes from the shelves, you’ll have to wait until next year for a restock — that is, if Trader Joe’s decides they’re even worth bringing back. So, if you want to secure these treats for your upcoming cookie exchange party, cozy weekend inside, or holiday celebration, you should stock up on a few boxes ASAP.
