Trader Joe’s Just Dropped the Cutest $4 Tote Bags, and Shoppers Are Buying 3 At a Time (“Absolutely Need!”)
If you’re a loyal Trader Joe’s shopper, then you know that the grocery store keeps its shelves stocked with more than just delicious snacks and frozen meals: The brand is also constantly releasing reusable bags to keep you shopping in style.
The store just released a brand-new tote bag inspired by the brand’s obsession with all things cheese. “A banner reads Trader Joe’s Cheese Adventures on one side, and Trader Joe’s Cheese Experience on the other — followed by a long list of cheesy dishes, including: Macaroni and Cheese, Quesadilla, Cheeseburger, and Mozzarella Sticks,” it says on Trader Joe’s website. This accessory is made of 100% cotton and measures 18.5 inches by 13.5 inches, so it’s the perfect size to carry your shopping hauls.
The Cheese Adventures reusable bags cost $3.99 each, and shoppers are wiping them off the shelves. When @Trader_joes_treasure_hunt, a creator who shares the latest drops from Trader Joe’s, posted an image of this new tote on Instagram, people raced to the comment section to share their thoughts. One shopper said, “Do I *need* another TJ’s tote bag? Absolutely,” while another user mentioned, “Oh yes. Just what we all need … another Trader Joe’s tote! (And I will be buying a few, obviously).”
In February 2024, Trader Joe’s released a limited-edition mini canvas tote that went viral. The hype was so real that there were reports of shoppers reselling the tote for upwards of $1000 on eBay. Since then, the brand has released new iterations of bags, and every time fans race to snag them.
The bags support Trader Joe’s goal of encouraging people to switch from those brown paper bags to reusable ones. They’re not just for shopping — you can also use them as an everyday tote or to carry your lunch.
Trader Joe’s also stocked its shelves with reusable storage bags so that you don’t waste a bunch of plastic when you transport their delicious snacks. They’re crafted with silicone, are safe to put in the dishwasher, and cost $5.99 each.
Next time you’re at Trader Joe’s, look for this cheese-inspired tote and grab one if possible. If it gets as much attention as the brand’s previous releases, it’s likely to sell out fast.
