Twitter Slams Rita Ora for Lip-Syncing During Her Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Performance

Rita Ora's live performance on Thursday for Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade didn't go well — and that's putting it nicely when compared to what the internet is saying about the lackluster show.

Earlier, the songstress was caught lip-syncing her hit "Let You Love Me," and Twitter was not having it. Video footage below shows Ora mouthing the lyrics to the song with major delay — yikes!

"Rita Ora’s lip syncing gave me war flashbacks to the Lizzy Magiure [sic] movie," one user joked, while another wrote: "Yikes is an understatement."

It may be painful to watch, but it's currently below freezing in New York City, which makes it nearly impossible to belt out a tune IRL. Even John Legend defended Ora's vocals (or lack thereof) on Twitter.

Rita was grateful for Legend's explanation, writing: "Fun fact @johnlegend thank you for clarifying what I was about to also tweet. It's annoying for us but anyway! All my shows are 100 percent live always have been! When you come to [an] ORA show get ready! Back to holidays! Have a good one guys!"

We're giving Ora a pass on this one!
