Tyla just debuted a baroque bob haircut and it’s a beauty trend to note
Voluminous, sexy, effortless; no, I'm not talking about glammed-up moi taking to a Friday night in Soho but the baroque bob haircut... duh. Yes, it may have piqued in viral beauty trends circa the summer of 2023 but now, singer Tyla is resurrecting the look with her own interpretation of the style. Take note, folks.
Last night [July 25, 2024], Tyla attended the 'The Prelude to The Paris Games' event in France. Not one to disappoint, the artist went above and beyond in the fashion department, stepping out on the red blue carpet wearing a chain-embellished bra top and low-rise parachute pants.
Now, as much as we loved the 'fit, it was actually Tyla's brand-new and star-studded hairstyle that had heads turning – and it's one that is now known as the baroque bob.
As she perfectly demonstrates, the baroque bob is defined by its length which, although short, provides an elaborate shape. Think: soft yet sculpted and voluminous curls, a bouffant and texturised side-parting and extreme hold and lift like no other. Aka, you're going to need to make use of your best volume and strong hold sprays!
There are many iterations (read: elaborate interpretations) of the bob haircut, as I'm sure we all know. There's the Italian bob, the French bob, and the mushroom bob, to name a few, however, the baroque might be the most popular among our celebrity friends. Even the likes of Zendaya, Hailey Bieber and Margot Robbie have all previously flocked to it!
So, with that said, you now know what to ask your hairstylist for when booking your next salon appointment. 'Tis the Old Hollywood hairstyle of 2024!
