You probably wouldn’t reach for the same shirt for a day at the office as one that you would wear to the gym, so why should your selection of face coverings be any different?

Uniqlo’s top-rated AIRism Face Masks feature the same ultra lightweight, breathable technology found in their line of AIRism clothing. Designed to be easier to breathe in than traditional fabric face coverings, they’re a great option for active days, or if you’ve just found other face masks uncomfortable to wear.
They've also just received a new and improved design (and new colours!) that's made with the same fabric you know and love, plus a few upgrades. They now feature elastic straps for less strain behind the ears, and added seams for a more comfortable fit.
How do they work?
According to the Uniqlo website, a triple layer design helps to protect and enhance the AIRism Face Mask performance.
“The outermost layer offers UV protection of UPF 40 while the middle layer functions as a filter. Its innermost layer is made of smooth AIRism material which stays cool and feels smooth against your skin for long-lasting comfort,” reads the product description.

Completely machine washable, the masks originally came in three sizes (small, medium and large), but have since been expanded and are now available in XL to offer a better fit for those with larger faces.

Since their launch last fall, hundreds of shoppers have fallen for the breathable feel and comfortable fit of Uniqlo’s signature face masks. Not only are they lightweight, they’re also designed with three layers of fabric, as is advised in the latest round of government recommendations.
