As it turns out, headlining the Super Bowl halftime show may not be the most memorable part of Usher’s weekend.

On February 12, People reported that the 45-year-old R&B star got married to music exec Jennifer Goicoechea in a Las Vegas ceremony. This report comes after news broke that Usher and Goicoechea had obtained a marriage license in Vegas on Thursday, February 8—just three days before his big performance.

“It wouldn’t be odd for us to get married,” Usher hinted in an interview with People ahead of his big performance. “We already did here. You know what I’m saying?”

While Entertainment Weekly reported that no marriage certificate had been filed with the court as of Sunday night, People alleges that the ceremony occurred at one point over the weekend, with Usher and Goicoechea attending his post-show and Coming Home album-release party in matching white looks.

At the star-studded event, Usher wore a black suit and full-length white fur coat while Goicoechea was dressed in a wide-leg pants and an off-the shoulder belted jacket.

And while Usher sported gloves during his Super Bowl set and intimate dinner party, he could later be seen wearing a gold band on his left ring finger at Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace Super Bowl after-party at Wynn Las Vegas.

Usher and Goicoechea have been linked since 2018 and share two young children, Sovereign Bo and Sire Castrello. Usher also shares two sons with ex-wife Tameka Foster.

“Listen, when you find someone that you know is a great partner, of course it is an honor and a pleasure to be able to share life with someone who wants to share it with you and loves you, who you are,” he also told People. “And we’re going to be in each other’s lives until we die, obviously, because we have something to share. That’s beautiful. Our children. But not because of that. I really do feel like I have an amazing partner that I respect.”
