This long-lasting blush has a jelly-like texture.

Pros
  • Lightweight
  • Sheer, hydrating application
  • Long-lasting formula
Cons
  • Difficult to blend if you wait long. Start blending immediately
$33 at Sephora

Since launching in early February, the Milk Makeup Cooling Water Jelly Tints have surged in popularity, going viral for their playful jelly-like texture. The tints have sparked curiosity among TikTok creators, who have further fuelled the viral trend by humorously pretending to take bites out of it.

If you love a natural and effortless pop of colour, this is the product for you. It comes in four shades and the key ingredients are vegan collagen, aloe and seawater.

I tried the shade Splash. Immediately when I applied it to my skin, there was a cooling effect which I loved and have never felt with any other makeup product before. The lightweight formula glides on so smoothly, providing a sheer look.

You would think the sheer nature of the tints means the colour isn't intense, but trust me when I say it is. It's buildable and long-lasting. I tried removing it with water and soap, and it barely budged.

The only caveat is since it is a stain, it's difficult to blend. So don't apply it to matte makeup and blend with a dense makeup brush.

I recommend this product for those days when you aren't wearing a full face of makeup and need a long-lasting colour on your lips and cheeks. Perfect for spring and summer.

Sephora/Farah Khan

This pink powder does a fantastic job at blurring dark circles.

Pros
  • Finely-milled, silky formula
  • Blends easily
  • Brightens under eyes
Cons
  • Has a floral scent
$52 at Sephora

As someone who struggles with dark circles, adding pink to my under eyes has been a game-changer in my beauty routine. The Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Baking & Setting Powder has gained viral status due to its ability to provide a smooth and airbrushed look.

I tried the Cherry Blossom shade which is a light pink-toned powder and adds a brightening effect.

This shade, in particular, may not suit darker skin tones, but there are 10 shades in total to choose from.

I love how quickly and easily it blurs and mattifies the skin — as promised, it literally looks like a filter. It's great for all skin types, but especially oily or combination skin like mine. A little goes a long way, so I know the full size will last for 6 months or more for me.

If you're sensitive to fragrances, you may want to avoid this as it does have a strong floral scent, especially when you first apply.

Sephora

This buildable blush is pretty — but I worry about its longevity.

Pros
  • Creamy and lightweight
  • Buildable formula
Cons
  • May not show up well on darker skin tones
  • Smaller than other cream blushes
$38 at Sephora

Basma Beauty, known for their foundation stick, recently launched the Cream Blush — and it's quickly garnered attention for its butter-like, creamy formula and flattering shades.

For starters, I love the fun slider packaging. It adds a playful and unique touch to the product experience.

If you love a glossy, sheer finish, you're going to love this cream blush. It has nourishing ingredients such as avocado oil and aloe vera extract to add hydration and give it a radiant finish. There are also six shades to choose from, and there are options for both warm and cool-toned skin. I tried the peach shade which I found to be stunning.

While I love that it is buildable, I worry it won't last very long since you likely have to layer the product and the blush is smaller than other cream blushes in the market.

Overall, I still think this is a fantastic addition to any makeup routine. I love the soft, creamy formula that just melts into the skin.

This tingling lip gloss is an affordable alternative to pricey plumpers.

Pros
  • Creamy and pigmented
  • Affordable
Cons
  • Can irritate sensitive or chapped lips
$16 at Amazon

The NYX Duck Plump Lip Gloss has taken TikTok by storm — and creators have been showcasing their before and after results.

The moment you apply the lip gloss, you will feel the tingling sensation immediately — and for me, it lasted for about 15 minutes. The tingling and plumping effect is caused by spicy ginger infused in the gloss.

I tried the Strike A Rose shade, which is a pretty pink shade perfect for everyday use. It effectively delivers glossy, fuller lips in minutes, and I absolutely loved the colour.

Although it didn't drastically change my lips, it did give a slight plumping effect. I could tell more closely when I smiled. If you're looking for a dramatic plump, it may not meet your expectations. But I still think it's a great alternative to the popular Too Faced Extreme Hydrating Lip Plumper and gave me similar results at an affordable price.

Shop the CoverGirl Simply Ageless Skin Perfector Essence in several shades.

Pros
  • Lightweight, gel texture
Cons
  • Messy application
  • Avoid if you have dry or textured skin
$23 at Amazon

The Covergirl Simply Ageless Skin Perfector Essence quickly became a viral sensation on TikTok due to its unique texture.

I read this is a dupe of the Chanel Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint, priced at $85, so it's no wonder TikTokers are raving about this affordable alternative.

I loved the serum-like texture, which was hydrating and refreshing. However, I have combination skin, and I found that the microdroplets clung to some of my dry patches. It also took a while to blend, but once I did, I really liked the natural glow and even-toned skin. I found that the initial application needs to be with your fingers—or else the product doesn't blend properly. It can also get messy, so be cautious.

The major drawback with this product is the limited shade range. With only eight shades to choose from, it will be hard to find the perfect match. I tried medium 40 and found it to be a little too warm for my skin tone.

This lightweight, silky foundation gives a flawless finish, but comes at a high price.

Pros
  • Oil-free
  • Medium coverage
  • Great for daily wear
Cons
  • Expensive
$93 at Sephora

The iconic Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Perfect Glow Flawless Foundation has achieved cult status on TikTok for its ability to deliver a flawless and radiant complexion that still feels like skin.

The best selling point for me is the lightweight and silky texture. I used two pumps for my entire face which gave enough coverage for an everyday look yet a natural finish. It didn't feel like I was wearing foundation on my skin.

Another huge plus point is the wide shade range featuring 40 shades.

While I'd recommend this for daily wear, especially if you struggle with textured, dry skin or acne — it does come with a higher price tag than most foundations on the market. While I personally think it's worth it, there are also lots of affordable alternatives — so you may want to skip this one.
