Vivica A. Fox wants you to feel good when you put your clothes on.

That's all she could think about when she was designing her collection for HSN.

"I'm going to make sure no matter what size you are, that I'm going to make sure that you have a waistline honey, and that you're not afraid to look tight and right in the Vivica A. Fox collection," she tells PEOPLE of the collection, which is officially available to shop now.

"We made sure the material is nice and stretchable, but fits in all the right places. With the ruching, we made sure that if you've got a little extra that day, you can still camouflage it. As I say, embrace your body, flaws and alls. I thought about a woman's figure, more than anything else."

Her debut collection with the brand is eight pieces in bold colors, and it epitomizes Fox herself, which is exactly what she wanted.

The collection contains a three-piece suit, a jumpsuit, a dress and more, and Fox, 60, wanted to give most of the pieces just a hint of sparkle. Customers will also see plenty of red so they have something to wear for Valentine's Day. Plus, she gave a nod to her Zeta sisters with the color palette, because she always stays true to her roots.

But designing clothes isn't a new venture for Fox — she previously created an independent line called Foxy Breed with a partner before joining HSN. She's always had a passion for fashion, so being able to have a large team to work with to bring her ideas to life was a dream come true.

"[The team] wanted the line to be a reflection of my style and how I dress," she says. "I've enjoyed it — from doing the model fittings to co-designing. A couple times I had to pinch myself. I feel really involved, and it has been awesome for me."

Fox, who is starring in Is God Is this summer, will tease her collection on The List on Feb. 6 at 9 p.m. ET before officially premiering it on Feb. 8 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

"I'll be there rocking the outfits. You'll get to see me in it," she says, adding that being in front of the camera is no sweat for her.

"I'm just grateful that I got out of my own way, because sometimes opportunities can come your way, and if you're just not ready for it, then it's kind of like a missed opportunity," she shares. "I've always loved fashion. I started out as a model, more than anything else, and then acting fell into my lap. I've done that for many chapters. So now being an official grown woman, as I call myself, it's a good fit for me, that people always ask me, oh, where'd you get that from? They always want to know, where'd you get that? And I'll be so glad to say, 'Girl, just go to HSN.'"
