Was this Parvathamma Rajkumar’s last wish?
A day after after Parvathamma Rajkumar passed away, on Wednesday, veteran actor Srinivas Murthy opened up about his bond with her and revealed her last wish. According to him, she wanted her sons—Shivarajkumar, Puneeth Rajkumar and Raghvendra Rajkumar—to come together for a mythological drama. Unfortunately, this wish remained unfulfilled as the three stars never came together for such a project.

For the uninitiated, during her illustrious association with Kannada cinema, Parvathamma produced 75 films. Moreover, she played a big role in shaping the careers of stars such as Ramya, Rakshita and Sudha Rani. Needless to say, her death left many in the industry heartbroken. Reacting to her death, actress Saroja Devi had told a leading daily that she was a simple person and would be missed a lot.
“I was very much part of the family and spent countless moments sharing our thoughts on various issues. She was a very kind person. She would treat everyone like family and was down to earth. She had that kind and smiling face, which will be missed dearly. She was so simple despite scaling such heights and being the wife of a legendary actor. She always chose to wear a simple saree and kumkum on her forehead. She has left us all to join Rajanna( Dr Rajkumar),” she said.
Similarly, Shivarajkumar too had paid a heartfelt tribute to her and called her a ‘strong willed person’
“People at home, as well as in the industry, have looked up to her in times of need. She has been a symbol of strength and that was even more evident during the last 15 days of her struggle,” he added.
Well, now that her final wish has been revealed, it will be worth watching if the Rajkumar brothers come together on the big screen and fulfill it in the future.
