First Lieutenant Kyle Albert hadn't seen his daughter, Karlie Albert, for almost a year while he was deployed to Iraq and wanted to plan something special for her when he returned home.
The military official mapped out an elaborate plan with their family and his daughter's cheer coach, perfecting it as she got ready for cheer at a friend's house.

Tommy Stout gave his brother the surprise of his life on his wedding day.
While Stout was determined to attend his brother Timmy’s wedding in Bakersfield, California, it appeared to be challenging given it was scheduled during his time away training as a Navy Airman.
However, once the wedding date was set, Tommy immediately applied for leave. When his request was granted, Tommy decided to make the occasion even more special by keeping his return secret from his brother and the guests.
Tommy even went as far as recording a heartfelt best man’s speech for his brother, which was played at the wedding. While the speech itself was short and sweet, the ending was epic, with Tommy walking into the venue to give his brother, who burst into tears, a big, warm hug and shocking all the guests.

Taylor Rice's mom burst into tears when he strolled into his parents' home in Virginia during a family gathering when they least expected it. The Marine had just graduated from boot camp and returned home in uniform for the first time.
