Watch Gia Coppola's New Short Film For Mejuri
Stop everything you're doing because one of our favourite film directors, Gia Coppola, has partnered with the jewellery brand Mejuri. And it's a match made in cultural heaven.
Coppola has created a moving and poignant three-part film series, A New York Minute, which follow a group of female friends as they go through the everyday motions of life, be it regular meet-ups with friends, carrying out mundane chores and navigating more difficult life changes while wearing Mejuri’s signature pieces. (Think hoop earrings, stackable rings, and chain-link bracelets).

More often than not, we associate jewellery with life's big moments: nights out, birthdays, holidays and dressing up. But the reality is that the jewellery we wear the most often takes us through life's more difficult, in-between moments too.
In fact, wearing your most treasured pieces during difficult times can often provide comfort, empowerment, and a reminder of resilience when you need it most.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Mejuri's chief brand officer, Jacob Jordan, stated that when he met Coppola, they both immediately felt: 'A strong creative and personal connection.' He added: 'It felt like I was sitting down with a group of old friends. We were intuitively aligned on pushing the limits of marketing, storytelling and the conventional idea of a "campaign".'
