For Mario's birthday in Seattle, Washington, his teenage stepson Omar had a life-changing wish.

Since he was four years old, Mario had been Omar's father figure.

"Mario knew I came with kids and didn't care," says Stephanie, Omar's mom. "He was in for the ride regardless of what anyone had to say."

Now, as a teenager, Omar wanted to recognize his stepdad's love and devotion by asking to be officially adopted as his son.
