The 92nd Academy Awards have come and gone - officially marking the end of another dazzling awards season in Hollywood.

While the Academy of voters made their picks for the year’s biggest achievements on screen, Yahoo Canada readers were asked to declare one final winner (and loser) of the night: The best and worst dressed from the Oscars red carpet!

BEST: Scarlett Johansson in Oscar de la Renta

Scarlett Johansson reigned supreme on the Oscars red carpet in a dazzling silver gown by Oscar de la Renta. The “Marriage Story” and “Jojo Rabbit” nominee earned 53 per cent of reader votes.

The 35-year-old star arrived to the award show alongside her fiancé and “Saturday Night Live” star Colin Jost. The pair have been a red carpet staple this year, happily posing for photographers ahead of their upcoming nuptials.

“Scarlett looked so outrageous in that dress. She was glowing,” People magazine’s style and beauty director Andrea Lavinthal told the Associated Press. “She has looked outrageous all awards season. I think it’s love. I think love is her accessory.”

Runner up: Brie Larson in Celine

Trailing behind Johansson with 15 per cent of the votes is 2015 Oscar winner Brie Larson. The “Captain Marvel” star sparkled in a blush sequinned gown that featured a plunging neckline and flowing caped sleeves.

Worst Dressed: Kristen Wiig in Valentino Couture

Yahoo Canada readers were not impressed with Wiig’s fashion forward Valentino Couture gown. The “Bridesmaids” star’s “lasagna dress” earned 45 per cent of reader votes, making it by far the worst look of the night.

Runner Up: Sandra Oh in Elie Saab

Oh no! Canadian Actress Sandra Oh suffered a rare fashion misstep on the Oscars red carpet in her over-embellished gown by Elie Saab. The “Killing Eve” star earned 19 per cent of reader votes, coming in second place for the worst dressed star of the night.
