Hello and welcome to the moment you meet the love of your life: Buffy. No, I'm not talking about the vampire slayer, I'm talking about the most comfortable comforter ever made.

I understand it sounds dramatic to profess my love to a piece of bedding, but hear me out. After sleeping under my well worn-in comforter that had surpassed college by just a few too many years, I decided it was time for an upgrade.

I was familiar with Buffy thanks to a million ads popping up on my social media accounts. The cloud-like photos and the promise that the eucalyptus fabric was among the softest and lightest on the market seemed almost good to be true (plus, at $120, it's a little pricey). But, the company lets you try out their goods for 30 days before getting charged, so I figure there was no harm in giving it a whirl.

Less than a week after I placed my order, the comforter arrived. I was eager to try it out, so I stuffed it in my duvet cover that same day. Let me just say this: I’ve never slept on an actual cloud, but I imagine my experience that night came pretty close.

Since that first wonderful sleep, my bedding has powered through the test of time. It’s kept me equally happy on frigid New York snow days as it has during 90+ degree heatwaves. Buffy says I can thank the plant-based fiber for perfect temperature regulation, as well as for keeping out mold, mildew, dust mites, and other gross things that tend to crop up inside your comforter.

I like that the brand has an eco-friendly mission, too: The filling of every comforter is made from 50 recycled bottles and Buffy’s production process apparently uses 10 times less water than the making of the average comforter.

Needless to say, I kept my dream comforter after the 30 day trial was up. I’ve also told everyone who will listen that they should get one for themselves (with this insanely cheap duvet cover to go along with it.)
