Zendaya's Pre-Olympics Party Dress Is A Glittering Molten Fantasy
The Olympics may be an exciting time for the athletically-inclined, but for fellow non-sports fans (like me) the real winner of the games won't be determined by athleticism, but by style.
And the stars are already bringing their A-game ahead of Friday evening's opening ceremony. Zendaya was among the many A-listers attending Thursday's pre-Olympics party at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris. Once again teaming up with longtime stylist and friend Law Roach, the Emmy winner wore a look fit for a champion.
The star of the show was a glittering molten black gown from Louis Vuitton. The dress featured spaghetti straps, a ruched bodice, and gleaming sequins stitched all over that radiated in the light.
Zendaya zhuzhed up the look with a tiny metallic Louis Vuitton box bag, plus a pair of small silver stud earrings.
Other celebrities in attendance at the Louis Vuitton party included Charlize Theron, Tyla, Serena Williams, and Rosalía.
While we don't yet know where else we can expect to see Zendaya at the competition, she is known to enjoy sitting courtside at tennis matches, as indicated by her recent run at Wimbledon—and it would certainly be on brand given her latest starring role in Challengers.
In fact, Zendaya spent much of the Challengers press tour wearing an assortment of tennis-inspired looks, whether that involved a high-fashion take on classic tennis whites or a Loewe gown printed with the silhouette of a literal tennis player in action.
