Zoe Kravitz debuted a new icy look last night at the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them world premiere in New York on Thursday night — and she had the dress to go with it.

The actress, who’s typically a brunette, walked the red carpet with brand new platinum braids. While she got the dye job a few weeks ago, she’s been mostly hiding her new ‘do under a hoodie in public. Kravitz’s new braids were so bright, they seemed to be more white ice-princess than platinum, giving her soft facial features a jolt. She wore them pulled back in a low bun, so as not to take too much attention away from the rest of her look. This way, they were noticeable but not overpowering. Her face glowed and her cheekbones were accentuated thanks to a rose gold highlighter.

Kravitz’s stunning beauty look was paired with an an equally daring dress. What looks like a simple lace gown upon first glance is actually a totally sheer ensemble, with what could be simply strands of thread covering her legs. The see-through, floor length, black lace and beaded gown hugged her figure and almost dangled from it, showing off her very impressive and taut physique, but not giving way the goodies.

This isn’t the first time Kravitz went for this optical illusion type of gown. She wore something similar but with long sleeves to the Mad Max: Fury Road premiere in 2015. The Valentino gown totally exposed a majority of her body, even though the floor-length number seemingly provided full coverage.

Clearly, the girl doesn’t believe in slips. But her getups are always so stunning and intricate, we almost don’t notice all her personal details. Maybe that’s what the platinum hair was for…clever distraction.
