Expanding on the look, eye-catching bikinis to “add to cart” this season touch on the 90s minimalism trend, as seen via a sleek baby yellow number from Mango, or one-shoulder set from Rick Owens.
Color continues to thrive in the swimwear market, and while there are plenty of girlish and couquette-tinged printed styles, a new bold sensibility has emerged through the uptick of color-blocking, as seen from Staud’s Sea collection. Ditto to brightly colored bikinis with color-contrasting bindings, available in almost every candy-colored hue from Frankies Bikinis designer Francesca Aiello’s Sweet Shop-themed collection. Red hot swimwear also continues to be a hot ticket item, with myriad monochrome fiery silhouettes available from Skims, or striped crinkle sets from popular label Hunza G.
