Candace Parker is set to release her new book and PEOPLE can exclusively share the cover!
The former professional basketball player’s book, The Can-Do Mindset, will help readers learn how to cultivate resilience, follow their hearts and fight for their passions according to a press release shared with PEOPLE. It's due out this spring from Get Lifted Books, a Zando Imprint.
Speaking about the title of the book, Parker, 38, revealed that the inspiration came from the nickname she was given as a child.
“'Can-Do' became my nickname from an early age, and it’s become a mindset that’s served me through so many life phases, anchoring me through choppy waters,” she said in a statement. “It’s the mentality that empowered me to authentically show up, fight for opportunities and embrace the journey surrounded by the people I value most.”
She added, “With this book, I want everyone to know how they can lean into the Can-Do mindset themselves.”
