Coffee Mate Just Launched a Never-Before-Seen New Flavor

It's safe to say we did not see this one coming.

Coffee mate has been hard at work this year. The Nestlé-owned brand jumped on the dirty soda trend in spring, releasing a Coconut Lime Mix for Dr. Pepper. Then, to ring in summer, it dropped a creamsicle-inspired creamer to add a citrus burst to our morning brew. It also teamed up with Kit Kat to bring the iconic chocolate wafer cookies to your cup of joe, no matter the time of day.

Now, Coffee mate is launching another new product, and this time, its inspiration comes from the most important meal of the day: breakfast.

Coffee Mate Bagel & Cream Cheese Inspired Creamer

The newest addition to Coffee mate's creamer lineup is Bagel & Cream Cheese Inspired Creamer. The brand is encouraging fans to “upgrade their break time” with the new addition, which it says has subtle notes of cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, and, yes, even bagels.

If you’re unsure about this unique combination, consider this: Coffee always tastes great with a morning bagel, and the slight tang of cream cheese works wonderfully in desserts. It’s fair to say that Coffee mate could be onto something with this sweet and savory mashup.

Coffee mate will release this free, limited edition flavor in three rounds leading up to National Coffee Day on Sept. 29. That's right, this is a giveaway. The first round will take place on Sept. 13, followed by additional drops on Sept. 19 and Sept. 30. Each drop will be at noon EST, and will run while supplies last. If you're one of the lucky ones who manage to secure an order, you will have to be patient, as shipping is expected to take 5-7 weeks.
