Demi Lovato is taking a stand against image editing once again, by sharing two unedited photos of herself in a leopard-print bikini on Instagram.
On September 15, the star posted the selfies and captioned her post, “No photoshop please and thank you.” She also shouted out model and swimwear designer Izabela Guedes to thank her for the new design.
This is the second bikini photo that the 27-year-old singer and actress has shared. In a recent post, the singer talked about body image and embracing her natural beauty.
Lovato wrote, “I’m just literally sooooo tired of being ashamed of my body, editing it (yes the other bikini pics were edited - and I hate that I did that but it’s the truth) so that others think I’m THEIR idea of what beautiful is, but it’s just not me.”
Fans have been quick to share their positive reactions to the photos, praising Demi for being real about her body.
“Girl u don’t need any photoshop! You are awesome the way you are,” shared one follower.
“LOVE LOVE LOVE the natural body this is how a body is supposed to be shaped,” wrote another. “No fillers or plastics. Sooooo beautiful.”
Demi’s leopard-print Maré Maré bikini is currently still in stock on the brand’s website, with the top and bottom retailing for $90 and $85 USD respectively. The swimsuit features lime green string detailing, as well as cheeky ruched bottoms that are inspired by the popular Brazilian silhouette.
