If you’ve been anywhere on TikTok lately, then you’ve likely come across countless videos of people digging into an interesting holiday delicacy of sorts. The viral food in question? A frozen pizza piled high with Thanksgiving toppings.

Last year, DiGiorno, a famous frozen pizza brand, announced on Instagram that it would sell its new Thanksgiving pizza exclusively on its website every Wednesday from November 1 to November 22, 2023, for $11.23. To everyone’s shock, the pizza sold out within seconds.

One person commented on DiGiorno’s Instagram post last year that detailed the drop, saying, “I was in the checkout queue, and they were sold out by the time I got to the front of the line (12:00:57) in 57 seconds. Wow, I’m unsure how to be faster, but I’ll try again next week!”

If you didn’t have any luck getting your hands on a pie last year, the good news is that DiGiorno just rolled out its Thanksgiving pizza at Kroger for a limited time only.

So, what’s the big deal about this frozen pie? Besides the allure of it being holiday-themed and limited-edition, it’s topped with sliced turkey, gravy, sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberries, crispy onions, mozzarella, and cheddar, all loaded on an airy Detroit-style crust.

It’s only been a few days since this Thanksgiving pizza hit the shelves, but TikTok creators are already racing to Kroger to get their hands on a box.

One person commented on this TikTok review, saying, “I want to try this so bad.” Another fan mentioned, “Going to Kroger after work; I’ll be looking for this.”

With this hyped frozen pizza selling out in less than a minute last year, if you’ve had your eye on this pie for a while, you’ll want to head over to your nearest Kroger location to pick one up because it’ll likely sell out again. Who knows, maybe you’ll even enjoy it on Turkey Day!
