Eggo has always had parents’ backs, but now in more ways than one. In addition to its frozen waffles, pancakes, and French toast that go from toaster oven to plate in just a few minutes, Eggo is adding coffee to its lineup. The new product comes when it’s most needed—the busy beginning of the school year. Even if you’re not coaxing sleepy kids out of bed and onto a school bus, coffee lovers will want to know all about Eggo's special brews coming.
Eggo's New Collab with Two Rivers Coffee Company
This isn’t Eggo’s first foray into beverages. Last year, Eggo collaborated with Sugarlands Distilling Company to create Eggo Brunch in a Jar Sippin’ Cream, which has the flavors of waffles and syrup in booze form. Now, it’s taking those flavors and collaborating with Two Rivers Coffee Company to create coffee with the same flavor vibe.
The 100 percent Arabica coffee will be available in Keurig brewer-compatible coffee pods and come in five flavors:
Blueberry
Chocolate Chip
Cinnamon Toast
Maple Syrup
Vanilla
Kellogg's Eggo
How to Get the New Eggo Coffee
Eggo's new coffee pods will be available online starting Aug. 19 on the following retailers' websites: Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Two Rivers Direct. The pods will come in 12-count and 40-count packs, starting at $7.99 and $24.99, respectively.
If you're in New York City, get a first sip of the new Eggo Coffee at the launch of the Eggo Coffee Café at 188 Lafayette St., starting Aug. 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and then Aug. 22-25 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The café will offer Eggo Coffee, Eggo Belgian-Style Street Waffles, exclusive Eggo merch, and more.
Eggo is also giving away 20,000 cups daily at eggogiveaway.com. From Aug. 21-25, starting each day at noon, 100 winners will win coffee pods and free waffles each day.
