Jamie Otis is getting candid about her pre-wedding jitters.

On Sunday, the 35-year-old "Married At First Sight" star shared a video on Instagram, commemorating her and her husband's 8.5-year wedding anniversary. The Instagram Reel includes on-screen text and a caption revealing that while her and husband Dough Hehner have come a long way, she wasn't always optimistic that things would pan out successfully.

"When my husband and I were on 'Married At First Sight' 8.5 years ago, I didn't think it'd work," she admitted. "But not my hubby. He said he always knew we'd make a beautiful family."

Otis then shares a photo of their daughter Henley, 5, and their son Hendrix, 2, before revealing that she and Hehner are "trying to conceive our next baby now."

"Thank you @doughehner for seeing in me what I couldn't see in myself," the reality star captioned the post. "For loving me despite my flaws. For staying by my side through thick and thin."

She explained that before saying "I do" to her husband, she was "terrified" of being vulnerable.

"I was absolutely terrified saying 'I do' to you. I so desperately wanted true love and a family but I had no idea how to get there," Otis penned. "I was so scared if I opened up I'd just get my heart broken."

She went on to thank Hehner for being "patient" with her through her insecurities and accepting the "baggage" she brought into their marriage.

"You've always been so loving and kind — right from day one when we introduced ourselves at the altar," she added.

"Happy 8.5-year anniversary. We didn't meet in the most traditional way, but we have our own little love story and it is my favourite," the mom-of-two concluded. "I love our little family and I cannot wait to give you another little Hehner baby to climb in our bed and keep us up all night long!"

Fans applauded Otis for being so transparent about her second thoughts going into her marriage.

"It's so refreshing to hear someone admit that they got cold feet before their wedding instead of pretending they just 'knew'. Sometimes those make the best love stories! Happy anniversary to you both," one Instagram user commented.

"You guys are so cute. Happy for you," added another.

"He saw through your beautiful exterior and saw your heart. That's when you know you have a good man. True love isn't easy to find, and worth fighting for," someone else chimed in.

One person pointed out: "It's so wonderful seeing you all continue to grow and learn together."

"You have a fantastic love story. Some things are just meant to be. Love following your family! Hope your 3rd little one joins you soon," a fan wrote, while another shared:

"I love your honesty so much! I'm a firm believer that we don't fall in love, we grow in love. So not knowing right away, or having second thoughts is a totally normal, human reaction to have to getting married — especially in your guys' unique situation! Thank you for sharing, and happy anniversary. Your love story is unfolding beautifully."

Just last month, Otis shared another "honest" Instagram Reel about her marriage, showing off what her marriage to Doug Hehner looked like "before and after" having children.

The "before" photo shows Otis and Hehner embracing, while the "after" photo shows their daughter sleeping horizontally between them in their bed, "at about 3 a.m."

"Real married life with kids. The 'after' pic was taken last night at about 3 a.m. Henley still climbs in bed with us every single night," Otis captioned the post.

"I wouldn’t trade the life we’ve built for the whole world, though!" she added. "I know this stage doesn’t last forever and they say we’ll miss these days when they’re older so I’m soaking it all up — feet in my face and all! Does anyone else have similar before and afters?!"
