When it comes to the holidays, Kate Middleton and Prince William's family traditions probably aren't much different than yours. Take away the black-tie dinner and church service walkabout at Sandringham, and Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis actually have a surprisingly normal Christmas at home with their parents.

According to former royal butler Grant Harrold, one of the ways the Prince and Princess of Wales create a sense of normalcy is with their kitschy holiday decor, which may or may not include a "Santa Stop Here" sign outside the Palace doors.

"I absolutely wouldn't rule it out the way William and Kate are," Harrold said of decor like the aforementioned Santa signage while speaking with The Sun. “They're fun. They've got a good sense of humor. They're very much family orientated. You could almost guarantee there'll be things like ‘Santa, stop here.'"

Of the Wales family holiday traditions, Harrold continued, “They'll be putting the stockings by the fireplace, the mince pies, the milk for the reindeer," he added. “You could absolutely guarantee they'll do the exact same thing that we all do."

He added, "The kids and their Christmas are the same as every other kid in the land. Well, most kids in the land.”

As for what movie will definitely be fired up in their queue? Elf, one of William's favorite Christmas films. "It’s very funny and I keep watching it every Christmas, it still makes me laugh,” the prince told young patients at Royal Marsden Hospital, before revealing "Feliz Navidad" as one song that they'll be listening to around the house during the holiday season.
