Little Debbie's New Version of a Fan Favorite ‘Might Be the GOAT’
Debbie does it again.
No matter your age, it’s hard to resist a Little Debbie snack. The brand is always innovating, offering seasonally inspired desserts for nearly every special occasion. Its long list of crowd-pleasing snacks has something for everyone, and the treats are shelf-stable, making them easy to store away for when the mood strikes.
Recently, Little Debbie dropped its fall lineup, which included many returning favorites and two new cozy additions. As if that wasn’t enough, the brand is now launching another product that reimagines one of its most beloved chocolate treats.
Little Debbie Launches Cosmic Mini Muffins
Little Debbie is bringing the nostalgic flavors of its Cosmic Brownie to bite-sized muffins. Cosmic Mini Muffins will feature a fluffy chocolate cake base dotted with the iconic rainbow candy-coated chocolate chips we all know and love. Each box contains five pouches with four mini muffins per pouch, making it super easy to share or pack into lunch boxes.
Snack reviewer @markie_devo recently shared a photo of the Little Debbie find and fans were quick to voice their excitement. “I need this… NOW,” said one commenter. “Oh, this will 100% be mine,” replied another.
But not everyone was happy with the news. Some people mentioned the muffins looked dry and doubted whether they would taste like the brownies that inspired them. “Mmm texture doesn’t match, it won’t taste the same,” said one Instagrammer. Another skeptical commenter added, “But it looks kinda DRYYY. A frosting core would be nice.”
A frosting core is certainly an interesting idea and would likely satisfy the desire for the fudgy brownie bits we all crave. Little Debbie’s Cosmic Mini Muffins are expected to hit major retailers in October, but they’re already popping up on store websites. Who knows, maybe we'll be lucky to see a rollout sooner than expected. For those who can’t wait until they hit shelves next month, why not whip up a batch of homemade Cosmic Brownies?
