Pop-Tarts Is Selling A Giant Party Pastry That Feeds 73 People
Pop-Tarts have been a fixture in American households since 1964, which means the brand is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. You may be used to sharing a foil-wrapped pack of two Pop-Tarts with your friends and family, but now there’s a way to spread the Pop-Tart love with a much bigger group.
Starting today, the brand is launching their brand new, limited-edition Party Pastry. This massive Pop-Tart is 73 times as big as a standard toaster pastry and is designed to feed 73 people. And, of course, it’s everybody’s favorite flavor—strawberry. If you needed an excuse to host a party this summer, this is your sign.
In honor of the brand’s 60th birthday, they’re offering the Party Pastry for $60. That price also includes the cost of delivery, which involves the pastry being brought to your doorstep in a three-foot box. And if you want to celebrate something special, you can customize your pastry with a personalized message on the icing.
But before you break out your wallet, there are some important caveats. First, they’re only selling 45 party pastries total—and you can only order it if you’re in Chicago, Los Angeles, or a small part of New York City. You also need to be at least 18 years of age and available to receive the delivery within a limited window.
