Priyanka Gandhi Vadra ordered to vacate her Lutyens' Delhi bungalow
The Indian government has issued an order cancelling the official bungalow accommodation provided to the Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi in the posh Lutyens’ Delhi area.
The order has been issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
This follows the removal of the Special Protection Group (SPG) security cover provided to the Gandhi family last year.

She has been asked to vacate on or before August 1, failing which she would be required to pay rent.
The government had in November last year replaced the Special Protection Group (SPG) cover of Congress president Sonia Gandhi and her children Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, with Z-plus security by the CRPF.

The Z-plus security does not entail such a facility and she has to vacate 35 Lodhi Estate bungalow, officials said.
